IAS Inside. Inertia Active Suspension is a patented technology. These NEXGEN™ Shocks dynamically adjust rebound damping, resulting in improved riding comfort & control.
This is achieved via a motion sensing valve in the shock body that dynamically adjusts the rebound damping to be ideal for both dips and bumps.

MORE About The Patented IAS Technology: Normally shocks have 1 circuit for for compression & rebound damping. Within this damping circuit are "shim stacks" that provide pressure sensitive adjustment to the damping. Because it is one circuit for both, it is always a compromise.
These shocks have TWO Completely different circuits (valving) for Dynamic auto-adjusting rebound damping.
By having one pressure sensitive circuit for bumps in the road, and Another damping circuit for dips in the road, the damping works exceptionally well. Each damping circuit is set up to optimally, and automatically adjust the damping to the road surfaces, acceleration, braking, load (weight) on the bike.
- With More Travel, afforded by these Shocks, the ability to eat up small and large irregularities, turning the harshest jolt into a smooth dip is a joy to ride.
- These Premium NEXGEN™ Shocks are available in 2 lengths: 12" & 13". The travel is an innovative 3.5" and 4" respectively. Because they have so much travel, do Not use lowering blocks with these shocks.
- When you order you will be asked some easy questions. Your answers give us the information needed to use the correct spring rate for your shocks, as well as giving us the info needed to adjust the shocks for you. This way when you receive the shocks they are already set-up for you. Simply bolt them on and ride!
Fitment:
Fits all 1993-Up Harley-Davidson Touring Models
Do Not use Lowering Blocks with these shocks. The extra travel they have will cause clearance issues if they are used in conjunction with lowering blocks.
These shocks fit with OEM bike parts. If you have aftermarket parts such as some oversized exhaust, lowering blocks, aftermarket saddle bags, etc it may limit the length shocks that you can run on your bike.
Limited Life Time Warranty Details:
For the original purchaser of the shocks
Does not cover accidents, fire, environmental catastrophes (submerged in a flood, etc.)
Does not cover if the shocks were abused (overloading them), improper installation
If they are installed properly, not overloaded, not damaged by some external force, then they are Lifetime shocks for the original purchaser....if they wear out, they will be rebuilt/replaced at no charge.

I was on a Country Road that was just Graded, So as Many Know they have a lot of Rocks or Pea Gravels & at 65mph I had NO Sliding No Fish Tailing Just Smoother Riding.. After I Put a few hundred miles on them, I thought to Myself Damn these Shocks are Amazing.. Not really Realizing that I needed to be paying attention, so I could give my Honest Review.. I was to Busy Enjoying the ride to Realize How Smooth My RG was with the NexGen Shocks.. I'm about to be taking a 730mile trip 1 way plus riding on the Coast and then 730miles Back.. So I have to say they're ???????????????????? Five Stars!! Thanks NexGen..

NexGen Rear Shocks 2025 Roadglide 0 people found this helpfulI just thought Harley improved rear suspension on new models that added a mechanical preload on the right side in addition to the hydraulic preload adjustment knob on the left WRONG…Harley’s OEM suspension is still trash! Thanks to DK customs we have better and more affordable options for a quality shock. The NextGen was a game changer for me, came custom set for my riding style and super easy DIY install.

13 nexgens on my 23 roadglide 7 people found this helpfulRode these shocks the whole summer before I gave a review I’m very happy with them I haven’t used every shock but have bitubos 12 on one bike 13 legend revo arcs w reservoir on another n these are better.i just put them on the way dk sent them to me and literally forgot about them they just ride good all the time if that makes sense my legends always fiddling w them never seemed to ever be “right”.highly recommend these.money well spent everyone compares their shocks to improvement over stock but these ride way better than my more expensive legends n leave me wanting nothing better if there is any.

Shocks relocation kit filler pad 1 people found this helpfulPut the NexGen 13’” with comfort lift on a 2024 triglide after 800 miles with stock shocks. Wife who has had numerous back surgeries wanted nothing to do with the trike till Nexgen Could tell the difference instantly leaving the shop. They’re everything they claim and more. Took the wife on a 5000 mile ride to west coast and back. Not one complaint. Only comment on how nice and smooth it rides. Also installed tour pac relocater kit plus filler pad. Install was a breeze. Everything bolts right together like factory No hassle what so ever. Been riding Harley D over 50 years this is probably the best ride ever. Everyone loves it. I think the shock engineers and designers at Harley got there degrees out of the Cracker Jax box. Great job DK Customs. Been along time since I’ve been so happy with a product. Thanks so much Geno

Best upgrade thus far 4 people found this helpfulThese shocks made my bike feel like a new machine. They absorb bumps without bottoming out and with the preload set to my specifications by DK Customs, the bike feels so much better. I chose the aggressive (firmer) option and even though it’s firm the amount of road roughness felt is significantly better. Great shocks!

Amazing ride improvement over the stock shocks 8 people found this helpfulI debated for a long time on which brand of shock I wanted, and finally went with the DK Custom Nexgen Premium rear shocks. I installed on my 2021 CVO Streetglide. I talked with customer service and discussed whether to get the 12" or 13" shock, and they recommended to 13" because I ride 2up most of the time. The pre-load was set perfectly. Went for a ride with the wife and was about 25 yards out of the driveway, and she commented on how the ride was so much better. Very pleased with the product. Game changer.

2016 FLHTK - Best improvement 4 people found this helpfulAfter all the improvements and modifications to my 2016 FLHTK the replacement of the shocks was by far the best one. These NextGen shocks are absolutely amazing! The ride quality drastically changed so much for the better. Delivery was the fastest I have ever experienced. They arrived 3 days earlier than expected. Spoke with customer service with regards to questions I had to the set up and they nailed it. Whether I ride solo or 2 up, ride is amazing. Highly recommend DK Customs and the NextGen shocks. You will not regret it!

2022 Tri Glide 3 people found this helpfulThe ride with the stock rear shocks was a nightmare. The sharp jarring ride was very uncomfortable and was not enjoyable at all. We changed to the Nexgen 13” shocks with the comfort lift brackets. Wow, what a huge difference. The wife and I are totally happy and are doing a lot more riding now, with zero discomfort. 2021 RoadGlide 6 people found this helpfulHave had on about 700 miles. What a difference over stock. Rear tire stays planted around corners and bumps. Back and butt feel so much better. I was hesitate to take the leap on these over BIG Name brands but I trusted the tests. I’m so glad I went with my gut. A big positive is they are also with an hour from my front door if something thing does goes wrong. Also to note to future buyers. Shipping is so fast. I had them shipped to my brothers since I was headed that way in 3 days and they beat me there. 5 Stars!!

Finally Something Better! 5 people found this helpfulI've been an Ohlins fan for the last 10 years. I've tried all the top brands and nothing compared to Ohlins! Until now!!! Your Shocks are amazing. I'm really looking forward to doing the front shocks on Wednesday. I know the rear Shocks are set up for 2 up, camper, and all my gear but they feel like they are set up for me solo. Very comfortable!

Holy smokes, these are AWESOME! 9 people found this helpful2016 FLHTK. These should come stock on the bike. They came perfectly set and installed stupid easily. Wife & I instantly noticed a much better ride quality. I spent hours looking for something better than what HD installed including remote reservoir types. All the others I looked at were a "here's your shocks, figure it out." The support from DK is top notch and I'm looking forward to getting more from them in the future.

Excellent product and customer service! 6 people found this helpfulI decided on the 13" shocks for our 2008 Ultra, the Stationwagon" after much discussion and many questions of the good folks at DKC. They came very nicely set up, appearance is superlative and the ride improvement is incredible. The squirm in the corners under power is gone, the bike tracks beautifully and the jolt followed with getting launched out of the seat on unexpected severe bumps is also gone. I am very pleased as is my Wife. Thank you for answering all my questions, offering your advise and the great shipping.

AMAZING!!! 6 people found this helpfulOriginally ordered the 12 inch for my 2013 Road Glide. Told them to send me the 13's. Put them on and loaded the bike to take it to the Black Hills for some spirited riding. I was amazed at how great the bike felt. the little wiggle that was there when in the corners was gone. Soaked up the bumps that would have jarred my back. I'm 6-1 and 350lbs. they were dialed in perfectly from DK. I started attacking the corners like I did when I was younger. Awesome shocks!!!

2016 Ultra Limited, 2021 Street Glide Special 7 people found this helpfulOrdered 13 inch for my Ultra limited and 12 inch for my Street Glide Special. I ride mostly two up with my wife. These came with the pre-load set and after a few rides I have them dialed in perfectly. Very smooth comfortable ride for both I and my wife and handles the big bumps when needed. I am very happy with these.
